The project, which started on 1 November 2025, targets to enhance the travel experience of foreign tourists by providing a fun package of privileges and unforgettable gifts.

In an effort to promote the country’s tourism and enhance the overall arrival experience, Thailand’s Tourism Authority (TAT) introduced the ‘Amazing Bag’ giveaway at key international airports, including Suvarnabhumi and Don Mueang. These specially curated bags feature a selection of locally inspired keepsakes, offering a tangible slice of Thailand’s rich culture.

A Warm Welcome to International Travellers

The campaign launched with great fanfare on November 6, 2025, at Suvarnabhumi Airport, where Thailand’s Minister of Tourism and Sports, Artthakorn Sirilatthayakorn, along with TAT executives, greeted international travellers arriving in the Kingdom. They handed out the signature “Amazing Bag” to mark the beginning of the high travel season. A similar activity was held the following day at Don Mueang Airport, ensuring that both major international entry points were fully engaged in this exciting initiative.

This campaign underscores Thailand’s ongoing efforts to enhance the visitor experience under the government’s “Big Impact, Act Fast” strategy. It not only serves as a unique welcome for tourists but also aims to stimulate spending during the peak travel period by promoting travel products and services from over 300 leading tourism businesses across the country.

Exclusive Souvenirs and Unforgettable Experiences

The “Amazing Bag” is designed to provide visitors with a keepsake that captures the essence of Thailand’s cultural charm. Each bag contains souvenirs inspired by the “5 Must Do in Thailand” experiences: Must Taste dried Thai mango, Must Try Muay Thai keychains symbolising Thai martial arts, Must Buy textile crafts from Sakon Nakhon, Must Seek lifestyle-inspired keychains, and Must See traditional art tokens such as Khon and Phi Ta Khon keychains.

The bags also feature QR codes, allowing visitors to register for additional tourism vouchers and participate in the campaign’s online platform for even more benefits. As part of the initiative, Lucky Bags containing special prizes worth over 1,000,000 Baht have also been made available, generously provided by TAT’s tourism partners.

The initiative is already showing great promise, with over 2,500 international visitors participating in the campaign within its first few days. The most prominent travellers in attendance hail from China, India, Russia, France, and the United Kingdom.
